My friend Heather let us borrow her exersaucer for Ben since her daughter has out grown it. Well, it turns out Owen likes it more than Ben!!

I heard Owen pressing the buttons on it to make music and when I turned around I had to do a double take because he was IN IT!! I was like, seriously kid… you are too much. He climbed in all by himself. Usually he’ll dance and bop around to the music, but he’s never gotten in it. Silly boy!

I think he might be jealous he never had one as a baby! =) I mean it’s even Baby Einstein which was his favorite!!!

I’m also having a love hate relationship with our new point and shoot camera. Sometimes it takes great pictures like this, but the other half of the time the quality is really poor. =( THANK GOD I have my D50. It is one of the best investments I ever made. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have a small camera to grab quick or take places the big one is just too big for, but it’s nice to know that I have a good camera too that I know will always take good pictures… especially for the moments I really don’t want to miss. It was worth every penny!!

On Sunday, we had the pleasure of meeting one of my online photo friends, Stephanie, and her daughter Hannah. They are from Alabama and were in PA for the weekend so we met up in Hershey. We’ve talked online for over 2 years now (Hannah and Owen are only a few weeks apart in age) and it was great to finally meet in person.

Stephanie is an amazing photographer and she snapped some pictures for us when we were at the gardens. She’s so talented.

Not only does Ben look just like me as a baby, I think he is going to foster my love for gab! =)

This picture and the video were taken with our new Point and Shoot camera. The camera does OK taking pictures, as long as there is good light (I had to fix this a bit in photoshop) but the HD video is pretty decent. We bought this camera mainly for that feature so we could put snippets of the boys on the blog for their Thomas grandparents in NJ who don’t get to see them as much as they’d like.

Saturday night we all went over to our good friends Jenn & Brian’s house for a get together with a bunch of college friends. Jenn & Brian have a daughter, Addison, who is 7 weeks younger than Ben.

They’ve met before when she was 10 days old, but this is the first time they got to play! Aren’t they dear?!?! Little do they know that their mom’s have big wedding plans for them in 25 years or so! =)

It’s going to be fun to watch them grow up together!!

Recently we had a MUCH needed family day. Mike, the boys and I went to Zoo America at Hershey and to Chocolate World. We had such a great day. Owen loved the zoo. He enjoyed seeing all the animals. He meowed at the Bob Cats, roared at the bear and the mountain lion, was excited to see the turtles, said the skunk was “Yuck”, thought the big fish were sharks and told the porcupine in the tree to “Get Down!”.

After the zoo we went to Chocolate World. We took Owen for the first time about a year ago and he hated it. He was really scared. Well, this time was no different. He clung to me for dear life. He doesn’t mind amusement park rides, but he hated the tour ride at Chocolate World. Why, we have no idea. It’s fun, bright and cheerful. Ben enjoyed it though. He looked around at all the colors and took in the sounds and yummy chocolate smell.

Following Chocolate World we went out to dinner as a family. It was really nice because since we went on a weekday, the zoo, Chocolate World and the restaurant were not busy like they are on weekends.

Our family of four had such a nice time together we decided we need to do this more often. Next on our list is Dutch Wonderland and this fall I want to take Owen to a day with Thomas the Tank Engine and the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg. He’ll go nuts when he sees all the trains. We also might take a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. The one thing I love about him getting older is we can finally do fun things like this with him. It’s great!

Today my little brother hit one of the biggest milestones in life … he earned his BS in Digital Design from Philadelphia University. Our family is super proud of him.

His graduation ceremony was really nice and the keynote speaker was Steve Forbes – CEO of Forbes Magazine. What an amazing speech. It was interesting, funny, kept your attention, etc. I’ll never forget it.

Dan officially starts his first real world job on Tuesday working for a web design studio in Center City.

Congrats again Dan on this great accomplishment!

Ben is such a happy baby. He is almost always in a good mood and he is such a pleasure to be around. Just look at that face. ADORABLE and it melts my heart every time I see it!!!

And now for a quick update…Benny is officially in his crib. We tried again last weekend and he did great. Now we make a nightly routine of having Owen help us put him to sleep in his crib. Ben’s doing very well, although I miss him being by my side. BUT… I can look out our bedroom door into his room and see him in his crib from our bed. =)

Oh – and I totally forgot to report that 2 weeks ago Ben started to roll over. I was stunned because Owen didn’t roll until he was 5 months old, then again, Owen had a huge head! Ben can roll from his belly to his back, in fact one morning this week I found him sleeping on his back in his crib and we put him to sleep on his belly. What a little stinker. This baby stage is just going too fast this time.

Now that Ben & Roman have been welcomed with open arms into this world, it’s time for them to become best buds! =)

On Saturday at Alex’s birthday party the two new boys in the Park family got a chance to spend some good QT together. Aren’t they just adorable?!?!

Happy Mother’s Day!!

It was Mother’s Day #3 for me, but this one was extra special because this year I have one more munchkin to celebrate with!!

Owen and Benny got me a pretty amethyst mother’s ring since they were both born in February. How sweet!!

Here is a picture of us from today… not a great one, but with a 2 year old that is TOTALLY uncooperative, it’s the best I’m going to get. My one wish for Mother’s Day was to get a picture of both boys together, but it still hasn’t happened!! =( Ben is over 3 months old already and no picture of the 2 boys b/c Owen is still not liking his little brother. I’ll have to post this week all our attempts.
